About Us

The aim of Now What

Now What is an online service for young people whose lives have been affected by cancer. It has been designed to help them better cope with their experience by providing information, which in turn increases understanding, builds confidence and helps them gain more control over their situation.

The site helps them connect with other young people with similar experiences, providing peer support and a space where they can share their stories and know that they are not alone.

The entire service was developed by young people for young people, calling upon the expertise of medical and mental health care professionals, written in a way that is accessible to young people

The service is unique, because it is specifically designed for young people whose lives have been affected by cancer, which includes young people with cancer, young people whose parent or sibling has cancer, and young people whose parent or sibling has died from cancer.

We aim

to provide a supportive, informative and inclusive online community for young people living with cancer.

We are

youth driven, interactive, inclusive, honest.

By being

trustworthy, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, empathetic.

Our voice is

So young people feel

understood, informed, empowered, supported, connected, confident, validated, involved....... and can deal with their cancer experience their way.
