These printable tear-off cards are one tool you can use to make life a little easier.

Below you can read what each tear-off card is for and simply download the one you want from the pdf’s at the bottom of the page. Download and print off as many as you want.

Tear-off cards

  • Talking card- when your parent has cancer

It can be tiresome and even sometimes annoying having to explain your parent’s cancer to people over and over again. This talking card is something you can give to friends, work mates, teachers and whoever else to let them know what is happening with your parent.

  • For my parent- when your sibling has cancer

This tear off card is for you to give to your parent when your brother or sister has cancer. It can often be hard to talk to your parent when they too are dealing with your siblings cancer but this tear off card can be used as a way to communicate to your parent the support you need from them during this time.

  • For my sibling- when your brother or sister has cancer

This tear off card is to give to your sibling when they have cancer. We often have so much to say and have trouble saying it. This tear off card is to give to your sibling to let them know what it’s like for you and to tell them how you are feeling.

Asking for support is hard. Sometimes it just takes one thing to make life a little easier. This is a card you can give to a parent, brother, sister or friend to ask them to do one thing to make it easier for you during this time.

This tear off card is to give to your parent when either your parent or sibling has died, to let them know that you understand how hard it is for them and that you appreciate their support.

This tear off card is to help you to maintain a connection with your parent or brother or sister who has died. It gives you a chance to write to them about the things that are happening or anything you might want to share.
