Just heard a really interesting interview on the radio this morning, about some Australian medical researchers who've found a natural "rhythm" in our immune system that might allow clinicians to use much lower doses of chemo, and to achieve better results.
They've found that our immune systems have a cycle that runs over about 8-12 days (some reports say 12-14 days), and that they might be able to time the doses of chemo around this cycle so you don't need such high doses.
