Abdominal Cancers
Abdominal cancers refer to cancers that develop in the organs located in the abdomen which include the liver, stomach, colon, pancreas, rectum and bowel. -
Bone Tumours
Primary cancer in the bones is a fairly rare type of cancer. It mainly occurs in adolescents and young adults. -
Brain Tumours
There are many different tumours that can grow in the brain. Brain tumours can affect people of any age. -
Bowel Cancer
Bowel cancer is a type of cancer that grows from the inner lining of the bowel. -
Breast Cancer
Breast cancer starts when the cells lining the ducts or lobules grow out of control and develop into cancer. Breast cancer can affect both women and men. -
Germ Cell Tumours
Germ Cell tumours come from the reproductive cells called Germ Cells. Germ Cell tumours mainly affect the ovaries in women, and the testes in men. They can also sometimes occur in the brain. Germ cell tumours are more common in young people. -
Head and Neck Cancers
Most cancers of the head and neck are of a type called carcinoma (in particular squamous cell carcinoma) but they can also include other kinds like lymphomas or melanomas. -
Leukaemia
Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood cells which occurs when the cells stop working and functioning properly. -
Lymphoma
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps your immune system protect your body against infection and disease. -
Lung Cancer
There are 2 main types of lung cancers. It is called lung cancer because it originates in the lung, which is the organ that gives oxygen to the body by breathing. -
Multiple Myeloma
Myeloma is a type of bone cancer that comes from the plasma cells. It is also known as multiple myeloma. -
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is a cancer that is commonly occurs in men over 50 years of age. -
Reproductive Cancers
Reproductive cancers are those that affect the organs that are required to reproduce (that is, have children). -
Skin Cancer
Skin cancer develops when a cell in the skin goes through a series of changes that make it a cancer cell. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation in sunlight is the main factor that causes skin cancer cells to become cancer cells. -
Soft Tissue Sarcomas
Soft tissue sarcomas are cancers that can occur in the fat, blood vessels or muscles of the body. These are the tissues that support the body and protect our organs (and hold us up!) -
Thyroid Cancer
The thyroid is a small gland just below the voice box (or larynx), at the front of the neck. -
Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer of the testicle and can affect men of any ages, although it is more commonly found in men of any ages. -
Other Cancers
