Tests and Treatments
Feeling tired
Suddenly, you might just feel like rubbish, and be unable to shake it without getting some rest.
Even after treatment ends, tiredness may continue to drag you down. It is frustrating to have to do normal things at a slower pace than usual, but try to be patient and allow yourself the time you need.
Ways to cope with tiredness
- Eat well and drink plenty of fluids – it’s vital to maintain your energy levels.
- Don’t do more than you feel you can. Save your energy as much as possible.
- Try to do some light exercise.
- Take little cat-naps as often as possible.
- Let other people help you! There’s nothing wrong with accepting a helping hand…and you might as well take advantage while they’re offering!
