Mum had breast cancer

Mum had breast cancer
My story started in May 2006 when mum came home and told me that she had cancer in her left breast. I was 9 years old at the time so I didn't know what that was and my sister was only 4 years old.

The next thing I knew mum had chemotherapy and lost all her hair.  Then next was radiotherapy. The doctors told mum that she was going to be fine and that she would pull through this.  She was fine for a while without the cancer but then in February 2008 it returned. This time it was through her whole body.

It was tough seeing mum go through everything but I had to take good care of my sister and make sure that she would be okay for mum.  Mum then started chemo and radiotherapy again and once again lost her hair.

In 2009 mum went into hospital but due to the fact that there was not enough room and she was becoming too dependent on the nurses, she was moved to a different hospital.

Mum remained there for a while and we visited her as much as possible.  Then sadly on the day of my concert that I wanted mum to see, she passed away. This was on the 6th of December 2009.
