I didn’t know what Leukemia was.

As my brother was going through treatment, I couldn’t do some sports like indoor soccer and cricket as there was too much pressure on my dad to get me there, because my mum was with my brother in hospital.

It was hard on everyone but it was even harder on my mum and dad because my dad had to work, get me and my other two brothers to training, cook dinner and take us up to visit my brother in hospital.

Then a couple of months ago a person from CanTeen came and knocked on my front door and showed us a DVD about CanTeen. A couple of days later we were invited to a rec day at the beach which was really good.

My dad, me and my other two brothers were out when my mum and Drew came home from Sydney. This was great and now our lives are getting better.
